Maintained by the Country of Los Angeles. Portions of this trail are under a license agreement with Southern California Edison, which owns those portions of the trail in fee. Utility roads maintained by Southern California Edison and Los Angeles County Flood Control
Starting at El Vago Street on the West side of the trail. Heading north into the foothills, affording spectacular views of the Crescenta-Cañada Valley, Cherry Canyon and Verdugo Mountains the trail becomes steep in places. You can also enter on Harder Lane.
This hike takes about 1.45 hours. Bring a walking stick, good shoes, and a hat, little shade.
