What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Analytics: 

We collect standard anonymous data using google analytics for the purpose of evaluating website performance, optimizations and business intelligence.

Contact Form: 

We collect personal data such as name, email address, business name and a message for the sole purpose of providing answers and support to our valued customers. We keep contact form submission data for the duration of our contract with you for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

Trail News Signup: 

We use Mailchimp.com to collect first name, last name and email address for the sole purpose of delivery of occasional marketing, newsletters or technical alerts via email.

Information you provide: 

We collect personal information only for the purposes of fulfilling orders, providing a high level of customer service and gaining knowledge regarding what our customers want. Security is among our top priorities in keeping your Personal Information secure. Encrypted information cannot be read or recorded as it travels over the Internet. Additionally, access to your personal information is provided only to our employees and agents who have a need to know such information for the purpose of fulfilling your order and offering our high level of customer service.

Editing, Updating, Correcting and Deleting Information About You

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us please let us know by sending us an email to info@lcftrails.org. When sending an email please be sure to include your email address, full name, and specifically what information you do not want to receive. If you would like to update or correct your email address, street address or other personal information with us please contact us the same way and your request will be managed within 2-3 days from receipt of the request.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

We keep contact form entries, and analytics records for twenty-six months, and customer purchase records for at least seven years or for the duration of the contracted relationship. We retain our Mailchimp.com data for as long as the customer remains opted-in to the service.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive a summary of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
