Over the river and through the woods!
The Flint Canyon–Upper Rim Trail Loop runs through the Flint Canyon and Hahamongna Watershed Park area in Pasadena.
After passing under the shady canopy of majestic oaks along the Upper Rim Trail through Oak Grove Park, continue to the Flint Canyon trail passing under Oak Grove Drive and the 210 Freeway, where the trail meanders through a lovely, undeveloped area with many oaks, sycamores, and a year-round stream. After crossing over the stream and under the historic Berkshire Bridge the trail will parallel Berkshire Avenue for a short distance. The trail then drops down crossing LA County wash and continues along Woodfield Road, a private street, To continue the loop you will leave the Flint Canyon trail traveling north on Chula Senda Lane to Georgian Rd. At Richmond Road travel east to the pedestrian bridge spanning the 210 Fwy. Walk down Foothill Boulevard (Michigan Hill) crossing the street at the Flintridge Riding Club where the trail continues under Oak Grove Drive through an underpass tunnel. Complete the loop traveling south-east to Oak Grove Park. Parking available in Oak Grove Park (Access at Foothill Boulevard and Oak Grove Drive) which is part of Pasadena’s Hahamongna Watershed.
